TYPE  HARDNESS  PROPERTIES  APPLICATION Yellow  Very Hard  High level of cut, extended buff life.  Flatware. Red  Hard  High level of cut, extended buff life, thermoplastic.  Flatware and semi-contoured components. Gold  Medium  High level of cut, extended buff life, with improved flexibility.  For reduced buff wear under severe rake action. Green  Medium Soft  Medium level of cut.  For reduced buff wear on contoured components. Oil  Soft, Tacky  High flexibility, reduces buff breakdown.  For improved compound head retention whilst maintaining good buff performance

Calico Treatments

TYPE  HARDNESS  PROPERTIES  APPLICATION Yellow  Hard  Aids the cutting qualities of the calico and can negate the need to use sisal.  Flatware. Green  Medium  Medium level of cut.  For improved head build/performance and a reduction of the loss of definition. Oil  Soft  Soft flexible treatment.  For improved compound head retention.
