LIQUABRADE Description Liquabrades are oil in water emulsions in which fine abrasive grains are held in suspension by a pre-blended binder and emulsifier mixture. Each product has a different formulation number for identification purposes, and bears a prefix letter before the number to denote the viscosity. H = Heavy viscosity compound for use with Graco airless spraying systems M = Medium viscosity for general purpose use with conventional air spray systems or intensifier guns Uses Tripospray: a range of products
for use on non-ferrous metals, featuring Tripoli abrasive grain. Ferrospray: a range of heavy cutting compounds incorporating either coarser calcined alumina or fused alumina grains for use on both ferrous and non-ferrous metals. At the very coarse end, Ferrosprays can be used to produce a brushed or lined finish. Spraybrite: the largest family of products using a wide variety of calcined alumina grains to achieve a range of results from heavy cutting, through 'cut and colour' to high colour on both ferrous and non-ferrous metals. There is a special product ( Liquid glue Wax M7843-discussed later) for use on plastic and wood veneers. FFL: the Liquabrade equivalent to our Learok FF range. Ultra fine abrasives blended with special emulsion systems to give a superb near mirror finish. Unique to Lea. Click for Further details of the Liquabrade range |
